Frequently Asked Questions
Every wedding is different, and we understand that you may have questions. Here are some things you may wish to know first before deciding.
-
A wedding planner typically supports you throughout the planning journey, from developing your wedding concept and sourcing vendors to managing budgets and overseeing the many decisions leading up to your wedding.
A wedding coordinator focuses on bringing your plans together and ensuring the details are carried out smoothly, particularly on the wedding day. This includes reviewing your timeline, coordinating with vendors, keeping the programme on track and helping to manage unexpected situations.
-
Choosing the right person is more than just comparing prices. You want someone you can trust, communicate comfortably with and feel confident having by your side on such an important day.
Here are a few things to consider:
Understand their scope of service: Make sure you know what is included in the package and what falls outside it.
Look at their experience: Reviews and past weddings can give you an idea of how they work and handle different situations.
Pay attention to communication: Choose someone who listens to your concerns, understands your priorities and communicates clearly.
Check the details: Ask about coverage hours, the planning process, vendor coordination and any additional charges.
Trust your instincts: You should feel comfortable sharing your plans and confident that your coordinator understands what matters to you.
-
our wedding day should be a time to celebrate, not a day spent checking schedules, answering vendor calls or solving logistical problems.
Having a wedding coordinator can help you:
Enjoy greater peace of mind: Have someone overseeing the agreed arrangements and keeping track of the programme.
Keep your wedding on schedule: Help manage transitions between activities and keep everyone informed of timings.
Coordinate your vendors: Ensure the relevant vendors understand their roles, timings and arrangements.
Handle unexpected hiccups: Have a dedicated person to help address issues and find practical solutions.
Spend more time with loved ones: Enjoy your celebration instead of being the person everyone turns to for answers.
Be present in your own wedding: Focus on each other, your family and your guests while the coordination is taken care of behind the scenes.
You've spent months planning and preparing for this one special day. Having someone you can rely on allows you to spend less time managing the details and more time making memories.
-
Absolutely! A smaller wedding may have fewer guests, but there can still be many details to manage. From coordinating vendors and keeping to the schedule to organising family photos and ensuring everyone knows where they need to be.
In an intimate setting, you may also want to spend more time connecting with your guests and enjoying the celebration without having to step away to handle arrangements.
A wedding coordinator helps take care of the behind-the-scenes details, so you and your loved ones can be fully present in the moments that matter.
Whether you're planning a grand celebration or a small, intimate gathering, the goal is the same: to enjoy your wedding without having to manage everything yourselves.
-
Definitely! Both roles serves very different purposes.
Your banquet manager oversees the hotel's operations, including food service, ballroom arrangements and hotel-related matters. A wedding coordinator looks at your wedding from your perspective as a couple, helping to manage the overall programme, liaise with your vendors, coordinate your wedding party and keep track of the details beyond the hotel's responsibilities.
We work alongside your hotel team, rather than replacing them, to help ensure everyone is on the same page and your wedding plans come together smoothly.
Most importantly, you won't have to be the one checking the timeline, answering every question or coordinating everyone while trying to enjoy your own wedding.

We recommend getting in touch as early as possible to give us ample time to understand your plans and prepare for your special day.
Full Wedding Planning: Ideally 9–12 months before your wedding. This allows us to guide you through the planning journey, from the initial decisions to the finer details, at a comfortable pace.
Partial Wedding Planning: Around 6 months in advance is ideal, giving us time to understand what you've already planned, identify areas where you need support and help bring everything together.
Actual Day Coordination: We recommend booking 2–6 months ahead so we have sufficient time to review your plans, refine your timeline and coordinate with your vendors. If your wedding is just 1–2 months away, feel free to reach out! We'll do our best to accommodate your date, subject to availability.
